Bacteriostatic Water 10ml

Bacteriostatic Water (BW) is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which acts as a preservative to inhibit bacterial growth. It is commonly used in research settings as a diluent or solvent for reconstituting peptides, proteins, and other compounds.

Key Benefits of Bacteriostatic Water
• Sterile & Safe: Prepared under sterile conditions for research use.
• Multi-Dose Use: Benzyl alcohol extends shelf life after opening.
• Versatile Diluent: Suitable for peptide reconstitution and laboratory protocols.
• Stable Storage: Maintains integrity under proper conditions.
Clinical / Research Findings
• Widely used in laboratory and clinical research as a peptide solvent.
• Provides stable reconstitution for lyophilized powders.
• Benzyl alcohol acts as a bacteriostatic agent, preventing bacterial contamination for up to 28 days.
Safety & Handling
• For research purposes only – not for human or veterinary use.
• Store at controlled room temperature.
• Keep refrigerated between 2–6°C.
Dosing / Application
• Commonly used to reconstitute peptides at various concentrations (depending on research protocol).
• Volume and ratio depend on peptide stability and study requirements.
